Your learning environment

The environment surrounding our educational center is characterized by not having a distinct identity and be a little solidarity with the rest of the city.

Increasingly, families in which the ancestors, father and mother working outside the home, a situation that may pose an inconvenience to care properly for their children.

New life forms and customs have been impoverishing the family environment in terms of emotions, increasing waste and creating a society in which transcendental values give place to another scale of values.

It is an exclusive environment with economic and cultural levels relatively high.

In the vicinity of our education there are other public as well as the School of Music and Ballet. Very close to our center is located a Civic Center, the Palace of Europe, which wants to unite and respond to cultural, social and recreational needs of the neighborhood. Often the Center hosts national and even international congresses.

Also close to our Center is a Resource Center (POPs).

 

It is the responsibility of our education influence a more effective and real in the redevelopment of the scale of values of our students, their families and hence the socio-cultural environment.

 
Students

Our Center welcomes students who are almost from 2 to 17 years. In this wide age range, we find students of all characteristics, both social and personality.

 

A group of students are children or relatives of former students of the Center.

We can state generally that our students are happy at the Center.

The discipline has the Center is acceptable, but due to organizational needs are somewhat irregular situations which will gradually giving solution.

A very high percentage of our students have in their horizon of students access to college.

 
The families of our students

Increasingly, families in which the problems of coexistence within them bring situations of marital breakdown which involves, in many cases, the appearance of conflicts on children.

The involvement of families in various college activities, with frequently, is interested in nature, seeking recognition and support for their son, forgetting another set of circumstances that are part of college life.

Notwithstanding the above, admittedly rather interesting that a number of families take an active part as responsible in the activity of the Center and its pastoral action. Parents feel informed enough yet about one-third acknowledge they do not know how the School Board. About 18% do not feel represented

 
Teachers

The group of teachers is insufficiently integrated and identified with the Center's educational proposal.

The teaching staff has confidence in its competence and to successfully overcome the difficulties in responding to the demands of the Reformation.

However we could identify as weaknesses:

       the low level of participation
     *

       implicacióón low in extracurricular activities
     *

       little spirit of teamwork.

On the other hand, teachers, believe that there has been little concern at the Center for vocational training and Christian.

This school wants to promote the harmonious growth of the individual in all capacities, with the benchmark evangelical doctrine that line and detects the following

 
Educational needs
Creating a democratic structure in the center.
Aims:
Gradually achieve a center with a democratic structure, responsive to the diversity of participation and where transparency and fluidity of relationships to facilitate the achievement of the educational community.

The promotion of spiritual values, social and human, from the perspective of a Christian student, but transcending the social reality that influences us. We have the moral obligation to influence, paying attention to diversity (personal attention to students).

We seek personal attention to students from the Gospel values and the involvement with the student develop critical thinking, accountability and the social dimension of solidarity.
 

We promote parental involvement, linking it with that of all segments of the educational community.


We want to promote attitudes of respect, interest and commitment to Basque culture. Also increase the engagement and interest in Euskera, as a reality that is a sign of identity of our people.
